Beckham has faith in voters.
LA Galaxy star David Beckham has stated that he fully “trusts” FIFA members to make a fair judgement of England’s 2018 World Cup bid in the Thursday vote.
The former England captain is part of a 30 man delegation sent to Zurich to help promote the campaign and attempt to win the 12 voters needed to host the tournament.
Beckham said: “I think that we can trust every one of the members. They are football people and they are going to want a World Cup in the best country that they think could host the biggest sporting event in the world. The last 24 hours can be the most important without a doubt. I know how important it is to keep going right up to the decision.”

The nation was also boosted by comments from the accused vice presidents Jack Warner and Issa Hayatou who stated that the recent Panorama will not sway their vote.
However, there was a slight blow as it was revealed that only 22 members will be able to vote in the secret ballot thus excluding Oceania stand in candidate David Chung who was suggested to favour the English bid. The decision comes as suspended member Reynald Temarii appealed against his exclusion from FIFA.
