I want the worldcup 2018 to be hosted by England because we are the country that created football. We have some of the best stadia in the world and we are also lucky to have the best league in the world in the premiership with some of the greatest teams and players in action. I believe hosting the world cup could greatly improve the countrys economy greatly, although the competition will be expensive to host becuase money will have to be spent on improving the host cities and stadia, but hosting the best sporting competition in the world has more advantages than disadvantages. I believe hosting the world cup would also create more jobs therefore less unemployment, increase tourism within the country and bringing the country and the rest of the world together and united within the lands of our great country.

The world cup coming to england would be magnificient. The bid needs to be properly backed by the FA and the government If this means pledging money from stadium and facilities then so be it. Olympic stadium in london should also be used and not the emirates as this can hold over 80,000. Small things like providing open spaces with big screens and proper catering for dignitries and the media are a way of swaying votes. Wembley is a great new addition to the evergrowing stadia being built across the uk with new goodison and anfield coming soon. Pompey expansion of villa park st james park etc. By 2018 new infrastructure such as king cross eurostarr terminal and t5 heathrow can only bolster are bid. Go for it fa and show Sepp Blatter that the uk rules when it comes to footie.

I am a South African wich can’t wait for the world cup to start in 2010. I also know that the world eyes are on us and think that we can not host a suscessful world cup. Yes there are issues with building of stadia but lets have a look at other countries hotsing major sporting events like. Athens in 2004. A week before the olympic games where due to start the where reports the the Greecks were planting trees and getting the city ready for the games. France 2007 Rugby World cup two day before the final they had striking action by the road and public transport department. And there are still other city, countries who had problems before they where ready to host the event. So please people of the world wait until 2010 to make your final mind up if we could and can host a successfull world cup. We all saw the prelim draw in Durban a few weeks ago, if that is what we can do for a 3 hour show just inmagne what we can do and orginize for a whole month of soccer festivals, parties. Thank you to Fifa who seen the potential in South Africa and awarded the world cup to SA. We wount let you down. And to the world who is coming to South Afica in 2010, you will have a time of your life and you will not forget it. Whoza 2010…………… Nick Cape Town South Africa

I think England would be an extremely good country to the world cup , just because ‘the beautiful game’ of football was created in England. The ‘Wembly stadium’ is probably the most well-known stadium in the world. Also the premiership has been very sucessful over the past three years.
England2018 would be a great world cup as it’s always better when a Rich European countrys tries to host a World cup just because of the publicity makes the statistics more interesting.
The stadium’s are ‘world-class’ as you need 13 brillant stadiums in order to host the world game.
In England at the moment we’ve got a ever-growing problem of obesity and if England gets the World cup and the Oympics hopefully the country will get a bigger insentive to become healthier.
If England gets the world cup it will be great fun for the small country, so come on FA and make the bid of your life to get the world cup to England and hopefully it will be a repeat of the ‘glory years’ of 1966.

While I would absolutely love for England to host 2018 I’ve a sneaking suspicion it’ll end up in Russia as a PR ‘World football’ type move.
BUT I do think we’ll mount a strong case and that may sway it in our direction, it’s just that i suspect world politics will get in the way.
